Guest Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 Has anybody thought of designing skins for osCommerce. Maybe to much code has to be changed to implament a skin job. Anybody have any ideas? :P
Guest Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 that wouldnt be too difficult to do, you could start it off simply by just changing the buttons and CSS or going full on and doing the whole lot... I chnaged the colour scheme on my dads site just by editing the css and buttons... easy peasy ;o)
Guest Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 I was thinking of major skin jobs, including layout, images etc. I don't think there's anything wrong with the default layout but maybe busy web designers who get a difficult customer could benifit fron a pool of skins. Could be a new forum idea! I,ve noticed that some registered users change the layout then take the credit for what's under the bonnet! I think what I'm getting at is a few skins with different layouts might help some of use to come up with more original site design's. Maybe it's easy! Maybe it's not. Unfortunately I don't have the time to play around with layouts.
rixride Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 Check the contributions under Templates, I think there is some kind of Template system, I don't know how functional it is or not. Good Luck
