Dave PSI Posted June 19, 2003 Posted June 19, 2003 at the moment we charge a standard shipping rate on all products.. say if you buy one or more products you only get slugged a standard one off fee.. the problem we are having is we are now selling products where shipping is not involved.. ie; memberships how do we keep it so no shipping is attached to certain items when purchased on their own???? the other problem is we are also selling products where the shipping is no where near as high as our other standard products so we want to charge shipping but we dont want to alter the selling price or keep the shipping price at such a high rate ie; tickets & small items any idea how we can do this?? at the moment we are using a flat rate on all orders and it's working great but now we have certain items were the shipping rates needs to vary or be non existant.. with the new shipping per product module, it ends up making the shipping to expensive if they buy too much stuff.. we need help asap.... Guest Posted June 19, 2003 Posted June 19, 2003 The way we did it was to set the product weight at 0 and have a shipping proce of 0.00 for that weight - works well for us and allows us to do special offers where shipping is included.
Dave PSI Posted June 19, 2003 Author Posted June 19, 2003 gonna look at that now :D still is there an other way though? Muzikal Kloudz 6 ? 5th July, 2003 ? mksydney.com
