Copying attributes

I thought I was being really smart - I created a product and added 5 attributes and then duplicated the product several times into the same category.

The idea was that I wouldn't have to edit the attributes for each product.

 

The attributes weren't copied with the product.

 

Now that I think about it, I understand why they weren't copied.

 

Does can anyone know of a way of copying the attributes with a duplicated original?

 

This would be really useful as I have lots of products wheer I want to offer the same options - computer cases with different power supplies.
