Arietta Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 My shop is nearly done, now I'm stuck with this: I would like to provide different "free shipping for orders over" in different zones, for example: Shipping free for orders over ?50 in Germany Shipping free for orders over ?75 in the rest of the world How could I persuade my shop to do this? thx in advance :) Arietta
stevebrennan Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 i need to do this for a project later in the year, and i would say it has to be easy. zones.php currently allows as many zones as you choose, with any number of countries listed in each. you can then specify different prices within each zone dependent on weight - we just need to specify prices dependent on price instead. my guess would be that we need to go into shipping.php and change all references to weight to price - would this be right? if anyone has already done this, or if there is another shipping module could they please let me/us know? thanks, steve
stevebrennan Posted June 23, 2003 Posted June 23, 2003 actually, i'm now thinking that the 'table rate' shipping module already allows you to give free shipping at a certain amount - but is there a modification of this that would allow you to still take advantage of the 'zones' system. if anyone knows could they let me know? thanks, steve
