It was a temporary purposeful security breach (with a well-backed-up database and file structure) I did to make some training easier. I've never had to complain about the speed of search engine spiders, as my weblog has been crawled daily since 1999, but didn't think they'd find the hole so fast. A nice fellow called us up to let us know we were the topic of conversation here, and I've restored the password protection. Don't make your admin directory publicly accessible -- very important!

To tell you how I saw it, I was searching google for available add ons or php scripts for oscommerce and a link led me right to your page :( I am looking for an add on and it appears from that page you have one.
