Sathington Willoby Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 Very new to this (i have been searching through existing topics), so here go my questions: -Is Canada Post's Eparcel module easy to set up with my shopping cart, since it isn't an option? -My product is taxable, but how can I set it up so that the price shown with each product is the before tax price. US customers don't have to pay taxes, so there's no need for it to be there until the checkout. -I currently use a third party credit card processor (Arvic Secure). Would it be easy to continue to use them with my shopping cart? -I am unable to define language, as it says I need to set up the right user permissions. How do I do this? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!
Guest Posted June 18, 2003 Posted June 18, 2003 you are going to need a basic understand of php and some coding skills most contributions/mods come with install guides, but some dont, so you need to be comfortable moving thru the code 1) the Canada Post should be a simply installation 2) there is an option to show product prices with or without tax added (in the admin section) 3) you will need to speak to someone regarding having a payment module for your cc processor - if it is like authorizenet or the others, than it shouldn't be difficult for someone to create 4) you need to chmod your folders/files either thru ftp or an ssh connection to your server - the permissions are listed in the installation documentation, and click the doc link below have fun
