LLENOD Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 I do not know if this has been brought up before. I have noticed it twice when testing out my store. I am running Ians Loaded5 with a few other mods added. I have also modified some of the checkout files to try to better streamline the process. The problem is if a buyer chooses to use a different billing address, they click on the Change address button. It takes them to a form to fill out the new address. They put in the state information and select the US for the country - In my case, I tried NC and North Carolina, you select continue and you receive an error that the State was not entered, but now there is a drop down menu with all of the states. It is not a big deal, as the customer can choose the right state and it works fine, but it should have chosen the correct state from the previous page. Guest Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 there have been some conversations online here about this 'issue' and someone came up with a code snippet to correct the 'issue'.. unfortunately i dont remember what thread its buried in... try doing a search on "state abbrev" (no quotes) and other variations and you should pick it up - i also think that it may have been included as a fix in the as-yet released MS2 version :wink:
