hi ive been workin on this one for a while but ive managed to add an about us link in my information box as per my earlier post...but when you click on the link it says page http 404 file not found???? can anyone help

yeah well i dont have that file i was advised to put it in application_top instead i guess its similar file...but hasnt worked does it hae to be placed in a particular order there or just under the heading of files

ok my querie has just changed...where do i upload the php file to ,i had in cat/ includes/ languages......ive just changed that to catalogue/ it seems to have connected? but is a blank white screen but no errors...why is it not showing text info from file.......?

If you're talking about a file 'about_us.php' or something similiar that you made using one of the other files as a template, then it should be in the base catalogue directory yes.

 

If it's showing as blank, try replacing it with a file of the same name with just some simple html and see if that shows. If it does, then you know the problem is in the php code of your page somewhere.

! ive fixed it....i was using the template from cat/incudes/languages for everything then i found another it had to have one in catalogue which had different info in it...anyway i first installed the languages file first ....then i used a template from catalogue and uploaded.....and it worked..... boy ive spent some time on that one...big relief...cheers for help!!
