jen_jl Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 The contribution for the linkpoint wrapper is here. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ions,596/page,1 I downloaded the new Linkpoint wrapper, which is now free. However, when I get to step two of the contribution instructions, the file names aren't the same or even anything close with the same extension. _______________________ 2. LinkPoint php wrapper - Buy php wrapper from linkpoint.com (It's $95) - untar the contents of the file into includes/linkpoint folder on the server (tar -xvf 54_lphp_linux.tar) - delete everything except .htaccess, lbin, lpphp.php3 and 000000.pem files - change permissions for 'lbin' with command 'chmod +x lbin' or 'chmod 755 lbin' - Upload 000000.pem (store_number.pem) file to the includes/linkpoint folder where lbin and lpphp.php3 are located _______________________ When I untar the file I get the following files: lpphp.php lptest_ApproveSale_VoidSale.php lptest_CalculateShipping.php lptest_CalculateTax.php lptest_Minimum.php lptest_PeriodicBilling.php lptest_ReturnCard.php lptest_Shipping_Tax_ApproveSale.php lptest__VirtualCheck-VoidCheck.php Step two says to delete everything except for .htaccess, lbin, lpphp.php3 and 000000.pem files Those files weren't available. What now? Is there another contribution with new instructions for the what looks to be new Linkpoint wrapper? THANKS! As I said, I am just learning, so go easy on my if this is something simple :-) I am great at following instructions!! Quote
emiliano Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 you have to pay for a contribution? Quote patagonia, argentina
jen_jl Posted June 17, 2003 Author Posted June 17, 2003 you have to pay for a contribution? Not the I am aware of. The $95 was payment to the Merchant account provider Cardservice International for the Linkpoint wrapper. They don't charge for the wrappers or php modules anymore. They provide them to their clients free of charge. Jen Quote
bradb007 Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 Jen, You emailed me a question earlier regarding the linkpoint module. My contribution is actually the linkpoint "basic" module without the wrapper needed. I would recommend using the module you have listed above since using the wrapper is preferable. When I originally wrote my contribution last year the php wrapper was $95, which could be as much as the entire cost of yearly webhosting for some, and certainly seemed steep to me. As to your question I don't use the wrapper enabled module so unfortunateoly I can't help you with that. Thanks, Brad Quote ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Brad Bierman
jen_jl Posted June 17, 2003 Author Posted June 17, 2003 Brad, I am currently set up for Linkpoint basic, not API. Should I be using your contribution instead of the wrapper since I have basic? I think I may be confused. Is your site live or still in production? Could you send me the URL for your site too? Thanks! Jen Quote
mikeinbigfork Posted July 31, 2003 Posted July 31, 2003 Hi Jennifer, I also have a client that is using Linkpoint. Since the wrapper is now provided for free, which contribution is preferable. Did you get either one working correctly? Thanks, Mike Quote
