ttoomey Posted June 16, 2003 Posted June 16, 2003 I know there is a way to do this, but I couldn't find a forum topic relating to it so here goes: I have a product that comes in 4 different sizes, X small, small, medium, and large. Now when the person selects that from the attributes. (which I have working fine) they can easily pick what size they want of the product, but the only problem is that when the size changes the product model number changes and I only see a place to put in one model numberon the product listing. How would I makeit so that when the person changes the size, the model number pertaining to that size, to that particular product is changed and included as well? Assault If you want to find it you'll have to google "Assault T-Shirts" because posting my damn url in my signature is against the forum rules. cgchris99 Posted June 16, 2003 Posted June 16, 2003 I too have asked for this but have not found a solution
ttoomey Posted June 16, 2003 Author Posted June 16, 2003 The only way I could think of to do this was to create seperate entries for each, but then how would I have them all on the same product listing page? That sorta defeats the purpose of grouping them together. killer-g Posted June 23, 2003 Posted June 23, 2003 got the same problem. different attribute per product gives the product different number and different stock. this does not seem to be solvable with osc. these problems are dicussed in other treads (about different quantity per attribute) but no one really came up with a over all solution. I think the easiest way if you use distinct produkt numbers per attribute (size, colour..) and distinct quantities is to create a folder and put all products in there -->nike T-shirt ->small, medium,xl. You can?t bundle different products(since the numer, quatity and attributes differs ) into one.
