nmad Posted June 15, 2003 Posted June 15, 2003 My shop send products only in one state of the country, so i like to know if it?s possible to "stop" the customer who select another contry or state with some warning pop up or something similar. Thanks!
Chad Posted June 15, 2003 Posted June 15, 2003 login to your admin panel and click on Locations/Taxes. Delete all the countries you don't take orders from.
nmad Posted June 15, 2003 Author Posted June 15, 2003 The problem deleting the countries in Locations/Taxes is when a new customer from one of this countries that i delete try to create a new account, her country don?t show in the create account form. Any other suggestion? thanks.
Kristofor Posted June 15, 2003 Posted June 15, 2003 yes i understand what you mean, what you want to be able to do is to allow people from any place to be able to create and account, however, when you go to checkout, the address that the item is going to be sent to must be in your county and in your state, that way people from overseas can join but you do not have to worry about any extra fees caused by shipping overseas, i have ofte thought how to do this, but i still have no clue, would be good if we can figure it out. thanks kristofor Don't die with the music in you!!! Maybe it?s possible to have two country list, one for shipping and the other for the customers but i don?t know how to make this possible :?
