FrankFokke Posted June 14, 2003 Posted June 14, 2003 Hi there, I have an item on special, from 29,95 for 14,95. When I buy the item I see 14,95 as the total price. When I go on buying and enter the order confirmationpage the shop says 29,95 again, the old price. Does anyone regognize the problem and know how to fix it? Thanks in advance. Frank Fokke http://shop.frankfokke.nl You can check the article Superaanbieding: Manicure/pedicure/combitool in the category Equipment.
Guest Posted June 15, 2003 Posted June 15, 2003 I don't know how you can set two different prices, but to make it simple and clear, I put the description<br>Suggested Retail $ then enter the sale price at the bottom of the page. You do the descp. and suggested it the small descp. box, not the long box.
FrankFokke Posted June 19, 2003 Author Posted June 19, 2003 The low price is added as a special price, the old prices shows up with an line through it. It seems the confirmationpage does not check to see whether the product is a special or not, and charges the customer with the high price. I am puzzled. radders Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 There's something wrong there (I don't know what). I tried it on my site (based on loaded 5 MS1) and it worked as it should. On yours it did as you described.
FrankFokke Posted June 20, 2003 Author Posted June 20, 2003 Hi David, Thank you for checking it out. Would it be possible for you to email me your checkout_confirmation.php so I can check for differences and try your version in my shop. You would really help me a lot. Thanks in advance. FrankFokke Posted June 21, 2003 Author Posted June 21, 2003 Thanks David! Now I found out its the AWB-Price Break routine from Andrew Baucom that does not handle the specials prices. I use the price breaks to gis discounts on quantities. At least now I know the reason, now I can start looking for a solution :D I'll let you know if I can make it work, or perhaps someone knows the trick? Greetings, Frank.
LeeH Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 Hi, Were you able to fix this? I'm having the same problem and just lost a $100 sale due to it. I think it's from Linda's SEC (Shoppe Enhancement Controller) contribution, which is wonderful in every other respect. I would like a copy of a working checkout_confirmation.php file if you have one. Thanks Lee Thanks David! Now I found out its the AWB-Price Break routine from Andrew Baucom that does not handle the specials prices. I use the price breaks to gis discounts on quantities. FrankFokke Posted August 31, 2003 Author Posted August 31, 2003 No I did not get a solution, but there is a simple work around. Add the item to the AWB-pricebreak with the low (special) price, for quantity 1 to *** pieces. Then it will be calculated correctly. Cheers, Frank.
