How to configure for German VAT Tax ?

Hi !

 

I tried to do this on myself for 2 days but it still doesn't do what it should, so i need your help.

 

My Shop should display the prices in Euro including VAT (16%)

If you go to the Checkout, it should Display Prices as follows :

 

Article 100 Euro (<- this includes tax)

Shipping 15 Euro (<- this includes Tax)

Total 115 Euro (<- also including tax)

 

This order includes 16% VAT 18.40 Euro

 

So i want the VAT Tax only for informational purposes, it should not be added to the total amount.

 

another question i have is: i installed the cod-module. but if you choose COD for delivery the COD-Fee i set will not be displayed in the checkout list.

did you switch in admin configuration/myStore/ Display Prices with Tax of true ?

also for the COD in admin configuration/Shipping/Packaging ?

 

and what is the error/ error message ?

Yes, i switched Display Prices with Tax to true.

The Problem is that the VAT Tax is added to the total Amount.

It is like this :

 

Article 100 Euro (price including tax)

Shipping 15 Euro (incl. tax)

16% Tax 18.40 Euro

 

total 133,40 euro (which is wrong because the tax is added two times.)

Now it works. I installed the VAT Display - AddOn and changed it so it displays the real price and the price * 0.16 = VAT

 

and magically the tax stopped adding to the total amount.

Hey Sebastian,

what exactly did you change in the VAT-Display AddOn? Simply installing the module doesn?t solve the problem.

I?ve got the quest?s solution:

 

1. download this contribution:

http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,410

 

2. install the "BruttoAdmin"-part (folder "staffelpreise")

 

3. only paste in the section starting with "START IN-SOLUTION"

and make the changes shown in the readme file
