bluestallion Posted June 13, 2003 Posted June 13, 2003 HELP!!! I just installed IAN's CRE Loaded v5 but I've got problem accessing the admin section. My safe-mode is OFF. My open_basedir is ON. The error message says: open_basedir restriction in effect. What should I do?
Guest Posted June 14, 2003 Posted June 14, 2003 Check your php configurations first as well as your includes/configure.php files. Watched someone else have a heck of a time moving a site over to a Plesk server for some of the same issues.

Guest Posted June 15, 2003 Posted June 15, 2003 I think "troublesome" would be too strong of a word...a little different yes. I know that there are quite a few people here running OSC on Plesk so you should be able to get some help if you ask questions on how to set-up the Php configurations on Plesk. I know in the case I mentioned above there were problems with both how php was initially set-up as well as the includes/configure.php file. I was and still am unfamiliar with Plesk so could not help much. There was also a problem with the aliased domain where the configure file was simply missing the "www" prior to the domain name breaking the connection to the database.
