aksolanki Posted June 12, 2003 Posted June 12, 2003 Hello, my name is Anil and this is my first post in this forum, so please forgive me if I ask stupid or naive questions. Basically I am a graphic designer working on a ecommerce website, i have looked at a lot of cart solutions and the TEP solution looks like the best. I am having problems even getting started, I have downloaded the latest snapshot uncompressed it and uploaded the files to our web server. There seems to be a lot of different read me's for the different folders. The uncompressed folder is called "tep_snapshot-20030611 Folder" inside this folder are three more folders "admin, catalog, tep-docs". Then inside each there are folders with the same name for example inside the "admin" folder there is another folder called "admin". There is no read me doc in the "tep_snapshot-20030611 Folder". Where do I start? I have never coded anything from scratch, I have modified PHP files before and understand how PHP works. I have a pretty good grasp of HTML, but that is where my technical skills end I am afraid. Do I need to be able to code in PHP to use the TEP stuff? Anyone that can point me in the right direction, offer advice or help get me started will become a friend for life : ) I am willing to learn but i am going to need help. Many thanks Anil.
