Promt selection for attributes.

Has anybody got any ideas how to force selection of an attribute, say via a popup box. Something like " please select model" where model is the option name.

Hello.....Hello.. :cry: come on somebody must have an idea. I'll run it by you once more, say a t-shirts page with three size's small, medium and large by default the drop down menu is empty if the customer try's to add a t-shirt without selecting a size a window pops up say please select size. I think this would add a touch more.. 8)
