Guest Posted June 11, 2003 Posted June 11, 2003 I have managed to put together a little bit of modification to have the user's password randomly generated (using a piece of "password_forgotten.php" and emailing it to the new customer. This serves the purpose of validating the email address when the user signs up. (No, I don't use it to SPAM anyone.) Also, I have done away with user being automatically logged in when he/she completes the signup process, by using a small piece of "logoff.php". If anyone is interested, I will post the few steps it took. I figure most have figured it out anyway, but I have seen a few posts asking about it. It is really too small to put up as a mod, and I can't claim it as my own, really since I used a few pieces of existing code. Charlie Quote
