The product will show on upcoming products til shopowner conferms and put salesprice on the product. Please anyone HELP me with this This will be grate so that distributors/manufacturers can help to update the shop with new products and information. Unquick Posted June 12, 2003 Posted June 12, 2003 I would recommend either Links SQL or DBMan SQL by Gossamer-Threads.com Links is ment to make a yahoo style directoy holding links, but it is easily modifiable to editing templates to make a catalog, and allow or disallow people to add products, and then you can validate them before they go live. DBMan is similar, but it doesn't have any of the categorizing features of Links meaning you would have to setup your own categories/menues for people to navigate through the site. However, both will allow you allow/disallow people posting new records to the database, except with DBMan you don't have the option to validate them before they go live. I hope this helps.

I have used them extensively and just want people to know these are not free or inexpensive solutions. they are very powerful, but I would not use them for a shopping cart. Arno Brandt There are several admin contributions that allow you to set access to your admin by user. So if you want to allow someone to go in and add products, pricing and descriptions you should be able to do that. [no external urls in signatures please, kthanks]
