Guest Posted June 11, 2003 Posted June 11, 2003 I've tried to set up the auto log on and have given up I dont seem to be able to get the code to work, although I must admit I really don't do PHP. Has anyone heard of something more simple to intergrate like: storing the customers IP Address to allow auto log on. Paddy
orchard Posted June 11, 2003 Posted June 11, 2003 Most customers probably have a dynamic IP address, so the auto-logon by IP wouldn't work for them. In olden times the men were made of iron and the ships were made of wood; now it's the other way around.

Guest Posted August 31, 2003 Posted August 31, 2003 I am trying to install autologon for MS2.2, but the list of the files that need changed is listed a file called 'account_edit_process.php'. I do not have that file in my directories. Can anyone help?
Guest Posted October 18, 2003 Posted October 18, 2003 Same issue here - no such file in my fresh install, but I DO have it in my old site, which I wanted to transfer to my new server (did a lot of mods from the contributions) and worked great, but problems with my server have pushed me elsewhere for hosting. And the old catalog won't work at my new server. I checked both current versions of osC (CVS & Milestone) but neither have this file in their respective packages. Could it be possible that it came from one of my earlier mods......? Looking forward to an answer to this issue
♥kymation Posted October 18, 2003 Posted October 18, 2003 In MS2 account_edit_process.php has been folded into account_edit.php. The code is mostly the same, just in a different place in the file. Regards Jim See my profile for a list of my addons and ways to get support.
Guest Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 I have had to remove the autologon contribution from my shop because of a problem I was having. The contribution appears to use logoff.php in secure mode when default.php is called by any visitor (initially) but this action prevents crawlers, robots and spiders from accessing the site. As soon as they see the Secure resource they give up. If I'm wrong and have installed it incorrectly then please let me know Regards Andy
helen Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 Andy, I was wondering about that same issue. I came accoss this thread. Hope it helps.
