Configuration Help needed

I installed osCommerce 2.2 successfully but I can't open the Admin-Page.

There is following message:

 

" 1046 No Database selected

select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration

 

[TEP Stop] "

 

Who can help me? What must I do?

This is exactly the same problem I have run into except that I can open and configure the admin section - not the catalog section though.

 

Hoping to find some helpful suggestions. Thanks.

Have you followed all the install directions? In particular, have you processed the mysql_catalog.sql file to create the database?

The admin configuration was completed with no problems, but "processed the mysql_catalog.sql file" is something I am missing. Before installation I created a "catalog" mysql database (isp makes it "username_catalog") and that was indicated in the admin set up, so I think this is where we are puzzled - I am anyway.

 

I read and searched the wiki docs.

 

There's a step here that I am missing.
