Dragonmom Posted June 9, 2003 Posted June 9, 2003 http://www.dragonmother.com/dragoncave I am still twiddling the colors and thumbnails and stuff, but as it happens, the javascript on my old site has suddenly stopped working! I can't figure out what's wrong with the script, either. :( So as people have emailed me with their inquirys I've invited them to visit the new storefront. I haven't had a sale from it yet, so I don't know if it works from start to finish- but the paypal link seems correct. Here's one problem I'm having- I created a border around the main area. I added the html in default.php, and it works fine in EI, (for mac, at least) but shows an empty page in Netscape. I was able to make the page show in netscape- but the border doesn't show, except for one little lorn corner! I want it on all the pages, and it's the same story. Does anyone know how to write the code for that so it shows in these cranky netscape/mozilla browsers? psst... wanna buy a wand?
Guest Posted June 9, 2003 Posted June 9, 2003 I like it ...specialy that old paper effect your infobox heading would look better (i think) the same color as your header Keep on the good work The_Bear
Dragonmom Posted June 9, 2003 Author Posted June 9, 2003 thanks, for the compliment! You know... I've always had a special spot in my heart for bears... I noticed that the way I've framed the page seems to go opposite of what a lot of people are doing. I wanted a slightly fussy feeling, actually, in keeping with the notion that wandmakers keep little Victorian shoppes. Wait till you see the header images I've created! psst... wanna buy a wand?

tcpinhead Posted June 10, 2003 Posted June 10, 2003 You can install mysql/php on a mac. What version of the OS are you running. Not sure about os9 but it is quite easy on osX.
Dragonmom Posted June 10, 2003 Author Posted June 10, 2003 OS 9.2 I can see that it would be far better to work on this stuff offline! psst... wanna buy a wand?
Dragonmom Posted June 11, 2003 Author Posted June 11, 2003 WEll, I can't run php on os9. I think I'll loook for a cheapo Dell or something. BUT- I did manage to find and fix my problem, so I'm proud of myself for that. If anyone sees any other issues, let me know? Thanks! I want to thank this board, I have found answers to almost every question here. Except- "what's for dinner?" psst... wanna buy a wand?
