upgrading from MS1 to daily snap shot

I downloaded the daily snap shot the other night and noticed that some of the file structure has been changed... such as the defines from application top have been moved to filenames.php and such... I'm curious if that is the only real structure change so that if I import my sytlesheet's and such will the site function or have other changes been made aswell? I know this is a very broad question but if the site layout will be the same as it is now with the daily snapshot wouldnt it be in my interest to begin updating now so that when MS2 comes out there will be less of a learning curve to bring my site upto speed... any thoughts on this issue would be welcome thank you
