Why am I Getting Duplicate Emails?

When i recieve an email from my shop weather it be an order confirmation, password forgotten, contact us. It send the email twice, meaning i recieve 2 of the same email.


Any idea why? Maybe i have to edit a file somewhere?

I had this problem of duplicate emails too - it went away when I changed the option in 'Configuration -> E Mail Options -> E mail transport method' from smtp to sendmail.


Can't promise it'll work for you, but my parachute's open :lol:



The box said 'for windows 95 or better'...

...so I bought a Macintosh.

I am having the same problem too, but mine went from 4 copies of the Order Process emails to 8 copies.


I already have my email option set to sendmail.


Any ideas???

I just read a post on a simular problem, it did not come up in email seach but i just went through the posts and found it. Go back in time and maybe it will solve your problem, look for anything with email in the heading.
