Guest Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 Hi all Im a newbie so go easy! I have OSC running fine (installed by a friend) and have configured it. It's all well and good. But I have just noticed that when an account is created, the shipping address and billing address contain no data???? Therefore confirmation emails contain no data whatsoever and print blank. Looking at previous test orders when OSC was first installed the shipping address and billing address defaulted to the account address. Can anyone help?
nezbie Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 I had the same problem after removing unnecessary countries with MyPhpAdmin. Take a look at your admin part and make sure that "Address format" is defined ie. to "1", not blank If there truly is evil in this world. It lies within the heart of mankind..

Guest Posted June 7, 2003 Posted June 7, 2003 I am not totally with you on this one? I have looked at admin/countries.php and all countries are set to 'Address Format: 1'
nezbie Posted June 7, 2003 Posted June 7, 2003 So, then that's not the problem... I'm sorry I can't help more, since I'm pretty new onto OsC myself too.. If there truly is evil in this world. It lies within the heart of mankind..
Guest Posted June 8, 2003 Posted June 8, 2003 Can any one help? If i go into my account and add an address and make it primary, it is displayed in shipping and billing address. But when you create an account, the address is not appearing in the billing/shipping address. Im getting desperate as the shop needs to go live :(
Irish Posted June 9, 2003 Posted June 9, 2003 Hi there, I am having the same problem here! I changed the address format to 1 like is suggested, but there is no change. I'm using June 02 TEP and get a shipping address of , only. I can't figure it out either. any help would be most appreciated!
kjavitz Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 try going to your countries table and make sure that your address_format_id exists in the address_format table. So if it says "1" in your countries.address_format_id make sure you have a row in address_format that has address_format_id of 1 "communicating your business message through the web" Kevin Javitz
