Guest Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 I am absolutely new to oscom installation but i know all the admin side including configuration and changing graphics of oscom. The only thing i do not know is that how can i upload a shop.Person who did it for me tells me that there is big database involved in it which i do not believe.I have a space on server which fully supports oscom.I have downloaded shop software in my hard disk now can any one tell me what more is to be done to upload shop from my hard disk to server.I even have ftp prog ready to load and i also know how to upload it but what all is to be done to server/database before loading.Please reply.
Guest Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 The database is called SQL. Do you have an online control panel for your domain? If so, go there and look under SQL databases. See if there is one called oscommerce. If you're on a linux/unix server then it's probably mySQL http://www.mysql.com/
