icx Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 Ok, what else is out there as far as different ways for users to see products and their attributes? This business of showing a base price and then +'s and -'s for attributes is far from conventional and is leading to some serious confusion. It is also a little misleading for customers. Is there any other way...any contribution anything to make this work differently?
Ajeh Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 Can you define how you want to see them? For example, I have my SEC Add-on assuming + or blank is a positive number so you can distinquish between + $25 and $25 on prices.

Ajeh Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 And when there are 27 attribute combinations? How would that be handled?
icx Posted June 6, 2003 Author Posted June 6, 2003 It is all one big table... +----------------------------------------+---------------------+-------------+ Test Product In Red Large TOTAL price Add to Cart Test Product In Blue Large TOTAL price Add to Cart Test Product In Green Large TOTAL price Add to Cart Test Product In Red Med. Ajeh Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 Color Red, Blue, Green, etc. Size Small, Medium, Large, etc. Etc. etc. etc. Now how does this get handled. You have multiple attribute options with multiple attribute values.
icx Posted June 6, 2003 Author Posted June 6, 2003 I understand what you are saying and what I am saying is that every combination of attributes possible will exist in the table. Spelled out in plain english regardless of the number of letters, words or phrases. this devil's advoacte is not helpful for me Linda...are you familiar with a contribution or do you know know of anyone who has made somthing like this work?
badjuju Posted June 7, 2003 Posted June 7, 2003 I'm also looking for something like that. Take a look at: http://store.dragracing.com/product.asp?pr...d=1040&catid=31 The attributes are called 'Applications'. I would like to display them in a tabular format and have customers select an option. Would be nice to assign product codes to these.
