Disabling guest account

I want to disable the guest user all together. All my customers will have their customer ID or they can call or write me for it. When you first come to the default.php, or login.php, you get boxes which show pricing. I do not want unauthorized users to be able to see anything until they successfully authenticate.

I am also not allowing accounts to be created by anonymous users. Account management will be performed by the administrator.

thanks,

Drew

You will need to search the contributions section for two contributions.

One is to not display prices for users not logged in.

The other is to disable create account (search for distributor or wholesale - I cannot remember which one).

Just configure your apache or IIS to require authentication when accessing that site.

How would that accomplish the task of allowing guests to browse the products without seeing the prices and requiring account setup?

Use directory protection does not do this and he would have to create a login for each customer!
