How to Implement This Excellent Feature?

In osCommerce you basically just have category headings: but look at this yahoo store, which has basic osC layout.

For each of it's categories, it has the name, a description, and a picture. Very sleek and professional. My question, then has anyone implemented something similar and would be willing to their thoughts with the rest of the community?

Take a look also at their specials infobox - it has multiple products. How to implement this?

Thanks.

Michael  (always looking to improve)

Michael,

You might want to explore the contributions section..There are many excellent add-ons and if I remember correctly, there are mods that will do what you are asking for.

There is definately a contrib for this. It is called, amazingly enough, Category Descriptions ;)

If you can't find it I will look for it tomorrow.
