osCommerce is multi-platform meaning that it will run on any OS, including Windows. ;)

How can I get a version or how do I install one of the downloads on my Windows operating system?

Are you trying to run osCommerce on Windows or just setting it up and administering it using Windows? I think the most common configuration is to have osCommerce installed on a Unix or Linux server and administered using Windows (although since it's web based it doesn't really matter what operating system is doing the administering). If you are installing osCommerce on Windows you need several other software packages installed such as PHP, SQL, and web server software.

Indeed, you will need to be using either IIS or download and install Apache.

In addition, you will need PHP and MySQL.

After that, you would simply extract the osCommerce files into your webserver's folder, run the install script, and you should be good to go.
