cknipe Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 Is it possible at all to use basic HTML formatting in the Products Description? I'd ideally like to use HTML to format the detailed product description. Items perhaps such as H*, P, BR, UL, LI, etc... Very basic. If there's anything in the code I need to change to be able to achieve this, please let me know. I've had allot of grief getting this to work (mainly due to apache / php I believe), but now that it is up and running, I'm starting to love oscommerce more and more! A truly versatile and flexible system!!! Thanks for everyone who makes this brilliant piece of software possible :D
Chris Moore Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 I use html all the time in the product desciptions and also for providing a link to PDFs at http://www.ferno.com.au I suppose you could do it in front page or similar if you wanted and cut and paste the basic script if necessary (in case your scripting skills are not that flash) Life is a highway!
cknipe Posted June 3, 2003 Author Posted June 3, 2003 Right... Slap me now with a broken broom please!!! I'm terribly sorry - I need to get sleep, and, obviously, use the correct HTML formatting code in my descriptions *blush* I had a look in the source, the html is there, it's just not written (entered) properly by me...
