The e-commerce.

Is this a BUG? Someone must have an answer to this.

Here is a bullshit issue I dont want to deal with. I have had my site developed by a design team based in Adelaide, Australia.

The site is completed but there is one error that even the designers cannot fix. Not good enough I say! I have found these forums myself and appeal to the osCommerce community for help!

Here is the problem:

Once I have logged in and are ready to buy products.

e.g. get to checkout payment page:

https://www.templegroove.com/checkout_payment.php

Either on this page or the next one:

https://www.templegroove.com/checkout_confirmation.php

When I click "continue" it re-directs me back to the default.php page.

I am assuming this is something simple for me to fix, if not simple something my host needs to turn on "php cashing" or something.

Someone must know what the problem is as I have heard that it has happend before with this open source shopping cart.

Please help be either replying here or contacting me direct [email protected]

I have gone thru your checkout process using cheque/money order as the payment method and successfully completed the order. However when I selected bank transfer and clicked continue (from checkout_payment.php) I was redirected to the default page. I'm only guessing here, but i think the error may lie in your bank transfer module.

1. why is the site secure all the way through ... makes it very slow.

2. are there no shipping options? Or do you have a free shipping turned on for over $XXX amount?

3. Continue goes to default.php then checkout the second time goes through.

4. You need a back button on your conditions and terms from checkout.

Thanks for the quick reply's. Im having the developers look into these areas now.

Does anyone else have any ideas? As mentioned it stuffs up the first time but works the second? Is it a caching issue?

If I had a few more answers I might come up with possible solutions. :D

Ive tested for bugs/errors and only come up with this one.

Maybe make the links a little more apparent.

Not everyone knows to try out words to find out which ones click.

Add padding between the middle table and the edges and center it so it has a nice even boarder of white around it, so to speak.

Cool thanks for all the help. Problem still not fixed.

I have heard something about the server side needing PHP caching turned on. Is this a possible cause?

Which browser are you using? I have had some problem with ssl and netscape doing just what you discribe. Well, I use Mozilla. HTTP networking. Sometimes, http 1.1. will have some problems with some shared SSL sites. I change to 1.0 the problem goes away. I know that IE handles this automaticly.

Just an idea.
