cesar Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 I am trying to change the : What's New Here? Shipping & Returns Privacy Notice Conditions of Use Contact Us text. However, every time I change the text in the associated files in the english folder, the changes are not reflected in the site. It keeps on saying the original default messages. What am I doing wrong?
Daemonj Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 If you have verifed that the text has been changed in your catalog/includes/language/english.php and catalog/includes/language/english/[file].php files, then when viewing the pages, press F5 or select refresh and see if the information is not updated. cesar Posted June 3, 2003 Author Posted June 3, 2003 I cleared my temp files and history, I double checked my code and it is changed. But the changes are not displayed. What is wrong. I cannot figure it out. Cesar
cesar Posted June 6, 2003 Author Posted June 6, 2003 Thanks for the quick replies. I was attempting to make changes off the server rather that making the changes locally, then uploading them. That was my problem. Your replies did not give me the answer, but put me in the right direction. Thanks
