arretx Posted June 2, 2003 Posted June 2, 2003 We already have a very advanced database system that runs our internal workings here. After finding oscommerce, I have decided that its speed is fantastic compared to the shop we have already. I am trying to avoid duplicate data entry and need to pull the data from the ODBC source into MySQL on a regular basis to ensure the changes we make in our current system are replicated in the MySQL database and subsequently shown on the commerce site. If there is anyone out there who is familiar with ACCWARE using Advantage Database Server, please let me know. I already use the ODBC driver to connect Crystal Reports to our data, now I just need a real-time merge feature to keep adding records. At the same time, I need to write the orders that come in through oscommerce back to the FoxPro based data running on the Advantage Database Server. Anyone?
yatahaze Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 I'm looking for the same idea, with some minor differences. I have a FoxPro .DBF database of items I want to link to oscommerce. I don't need to link orders and such, I believe davemc is selling software that does this for... yes, $10,000. lol. http://left.pumpernickel.co.nz/products/pu.../updatepricing/ I just need a simple link between dbf and sql. Does anyone know how to do that?
