visitors v1.6c - error in your SQL syntax near 'DAYOFMONTH

hello,

 

I installed visitors v1.6c.

 

In the admin sector I have this error message:

 

1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'DAYOFMONTH(date)' at line 1

 

select DAYOFMONTH(date) as name, count(counter) as value from visitors where MONTH(now()) - MONTH(date) < 1 group by DAYOFMONTH(date)

 

I checked all files but cannot find anything wrong.

Can anybody help me?
