delaen Posted June 2, 2003 Posted June 2, 2003 Has anyone done anything like that anywhere? I've been trying to figure a easy way to do it and am having no luck. I want people to be able to create an account without giving their personal info (I.E. address), but still be forced to enter it when checking out. Basically just create a mini-account and then if they ever decide to purchase anything, then they have to enter their address. Mainly I want this for people that want to review a product. I get a lot of people that start creating an account after clicking to write a review and stop when (I assume anyway) they see they need to give an address to continue. If I could get rid of this step initially I would love it. Any ideas?

I'd like to disable some fields because we only sell downloadable products and dont need their address. If we do we can get it from pay-pal.
