Guest Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 I installed osCommerce version osCommerce 2.2-MS2-CVS on IIS 5.0 Everything works fine...no problems. But I keep getting this error message on the top of my CATALOG pages: Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: C:Inetpubwwwroottbsonlinekyangflowersshopcatalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file. I cannot figure out how to turn this error message off. All my error messages are turned OFF in php.ini The only permissions I have set on the includes/configure.php files are: everyone - READ Any advice...
visioncomputing Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 I'm getting the same error - I have configure.php set to 444. Any ideas?
Daemonj Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 Since you are on a windows box and using IIS, set both configure.php files to read only and that will resolve the message. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence." - A. Einstein
visioncomputing Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 I'm on a unix, and both files are set to 444. ???
Guest Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 sometimes FTP chmod does not update correctly download that file to your computer, delete it on the ftp, upload it again, and then set the correct chmod: 755 I believe
Guest Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 That did it. Thank you very much...been straining my brain for the last two hours trying to figure that one out....
