judoka Posted May 30, 2003 Posted May 30, 2003 During the installation and setup of OSC on my local machine I, not knowing better, selected the SSL option during installation and now that I'm getting ready to test my site on my local machine there are somethings that I can not test like the sign-in option or the checkout option and I believe it's because OSC is looking for the SSL cert. I saw on a post here that I can disable the SSL by editing the configure.php, however I try this but I couldn't make any changes to the configure.php, OSC just wouldn't let me. I even till the cut and paste method using note pad but OSC wouldn't take the paste. Does anyone know how I can make changes to the Configure.php? Also I notice that in admin the configure.php file save button is missing. To clarify, I am going to catalog/includes/configure.php to try to make the changes. Thanks for any and all help.
rseigel Posted May 30, 2003 Posted May 30, 2003 Don't use the file manager built in to OSC. Just change the file directly with Notepad (or whatever) and all will be good again. 8)
