Hi!

I have installed following contribution:

And I cant get it to work, the EAN code doesnt appear in the invoice.

Anyone who know why?!

Hi!

Just a wondering... Why EAN 8 and 13??

This barcodes are not so popular anymore..

EAN 128 or CODE 128 are much more interesting..

Do you have your invoices changed so that the EAN appears on it.

I do not know this contribution, it could be that it requires GD library to be enabled in your PHP installation.

In phpMyAdmin and if you are working locally you should be able to check it here http://localhost/phpMyAdmin/phpinfo.php and see if you have a "gd" section.

What do you mean with change invoices?

I have followed the instructions..

EAN 128 is a more advance version of EAN 8 & 13.

Hi!

It was GD library who was missing.

But now it works, the barcode is displaying.

But...

Regarding to my barcode reader the code is invalid.

The reader refuses to read the code.

I?ve got a Metrologic Pulsar C barcode reader.

I have not heard of it, but we also need this enabled to make this work.

Hi!

I have solve it, contributions 1268 Osbarcode didn?t work at all. :(

But I modify, contributions 1218 Barcode Rendering and now its working perfect. :)

One barcode for each product and a barcode for the ordernumber, exellent!

It?s a handscanner, only around 160-170 US$.

I know you are joking Steve, you've been around for some time now :D , but in case somebody doesn't really know:

............ You can use the image functions in PHP to get the size of JPEG, GIF, PNG, and SWF images, and if you have the GD library (available at http://www.boutell.com/gd/) you will also be able to create and manipulate images.

It comes in bundle (usually) w/ php :http://www.php.net/downloads.php and can be enabled/disabled in php.ini

Hi Patrick

Good call on that mod.

I have put it in and it works great.

I have not bothered with the 1268 for the reasons you mentioned.

Also I like the look of that scanner, so think we will get one of them.

I take it to get the barcode of the product model you just alter the field called from oID to the model field?

I am too tired now, it's late, so I will do this tomorrow.

If you feel like pasting in the modded bit of code you did I would appreciate it, as it will save me a bit of time writing myself...
