JonnyThunder Posted May 29, 2003 Posted May 29, 2003 Ello folks, Well I've read pretty much every post about this problem but I just can't get my padlock to appear!!! I've got my catalog at... http://shop.digicenter.co.uk ...and the secure server is at... https://sslrelay.com/shop.digicenter.co.uk But whenever you go to login or whatever, it comes up with the ever famous "your page contains both secure and non-secure items" message. Now, I've only just installed osC - and it is totally unmodified. Apart from this little glitch, it's running like a dream (with no products yet!). Has there been a definitive solution to this that I missed (whilst wading through the thousands of posts). I can't take much more of this!!!! I really do appreciate any feedback or solution. Regards, JT
JonnyThunder Posted May 30, 2003 Author Posted May 30, 2003 I get the message about secure and non-secure when I go here.... http://shop.digicenter.co.uk and then click "My Account" or "Checkout". As soon as it switches over to SSL really. Do you get a padlock on my site??[/url]
JonnyThunder Posted May 30, 2003 Author Posted May 30, 2003 But if im using SSL, I should get a padlock shouldn't I? I think customers will be scared off if they don't see it appear. How can I fix this? Any ideas?
Ajeh Posted May 30, 2003 Posted May 30, 2003 Do you have in your configure.php define('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?
JonnyThunder Posted May 30, 2003 Author Posted May 30, 2003 Thanks kindly for your input. I did another search (bringing me up to about 2 hours worth!) and found a fix I hadn't yet tried. One change in the application_top.php file. I made the change and it worked first off. Yay!! I'm not happy.
