Option selection, change model # ? contribution?

Is there a contribution that allows me to adjust the Model number depending on the Option they select?

 

I have a group of products that have 4 possible options. But if an option changes, it needs to change the Model number.

I'm looking into something like this as well. I don't think there's a quick fix for it currently. I've been looking for about a month.

 

When MS2 comes out I'll take a look at the code and the DB and see if I could do something with this. :D But I'm still pretty new at osC so don't hold your breath.
