Guest Posted May 28, 2003 Posted May 28, 2003 i'm just curious why, when this entire program is so brilliantly user-(layperson)friendly and allows for the whole shopping cart to be admistered through a GUI, the text within it has to be modified through either the code or a file manager, which still insists on the editor knowing... is there not a nice GUI for the lay/client to nake his own text changes along with his product updates? maybe i've overlooked something? this is, of course, an otherwise fantastic program. glenn nall
cannuck1964 Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 is there not a nice GUI for the lay/client to nake his own text changes along with his product updates? Well here is a link for such a system, http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,863 it was developed as a beta version, I am working on an update to it right now, should be ready for MS2 release.... Or you can get the system complete via the http://www.hosting-osc.com the template system has this in place, as well as a few other things too.... the system is currently english only, and this too is being upgraded to support multiple languages as well...
