I do know there is an opensource program for sharing login, registration and sessions, can't remember where, but if you use you favorite browser just search for "postnuke databridge" it will come up.

Infact I think it works across multiple databases BUT there is one requirement, unfortunantly I can't use it. If you are using virtual subdirectories in Apache your subdirectory (subdomain) must resolve to for example:

http://automation.techrealms.com unfortunantly for me if I type in http://automation.techrealms.com it resolves to http://www.techrealms.com/automation so it won't work for me.

Thanks for the pointer.

I posted a question on the PN site about multisites, and issues surrounding FQDN (fully qualified domain name) or FQHN.

Nobody has provided any explanations, though, but I imagine it would apply to this issue.

It's probably not a great idea to post all this postnuke stuff in this forum, but anyway, I looked at your domain name, what is the name of your postnuke folder...

Secondly, postnuke multisites is not always the way to go, why, because there are alot of 3rd party modules that won't run on multisites, but if its just a few sites your after and you want to share for example user and sessions across these sites then you might be better off with a few install sharing tables, as I have done.

You can that here http://automation.techrealms.com
