Uroplatus Posted May 27, 2003 Posted May 27, 2003 Hello all!! I have searched and searched and not came up with much on this topic.. I have a server and a Shared SSL Connection. It is housed on a seperate server. The Domain is www.patricehullcompany.com/catalog and the secure server address to the sites ssl shared folder is https://secured.com/~f2055/catalog . It all links up fine, and have no problems going back and forth between the 2 servers. (basicly mirriored the 2 sites and shared the same database) The problem i am having is that the shipping options and the payment options do not show up. I am assuming(correct me if i am wrong) that if i goto patricehullcompany.com/catalog/admin to do the administration on the site, that it would only make changes on the database which is shared by the 2 servers and that the changes would reflect on both sites. Is this correct or does it make changes to the config files as well? I have all the zones set up and they worked fine on the test site(with no ssl, for it is on a server i have on my cable internet access with a dynamic ip) I figured that most hosting companies that offer a shared ssl set that up on a single server other than that its hosted on for easy, cheap access among several virtual sites on other servers. i have not searched every post on ssl topics due to there being about 17 to 20 pages of it, and would take way to long, but i will keep reading in hopes that i will find my answer. Uroplatus Posted May 29, 2003 Author Posted May 29, 2003 Well i got one email address that will show the shipping information and the payment to work, but with other emails and accounts, it does not give any shipping options, and will not give me my Credit Card option as payment. Uroplatus Posted May 30, 2003 Author Posted May 30, 2003 I figured it out... i had the shipping and the payment mods to use the zone that i set up for taxes...there for no one but from that taxable area could use the shipping and payment mods..... The pain goes away as soon as it stops hurting!!!
