emf_electronics Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 Ok I finally have the store running but how do you get the configuration manager back so i can add / delete products. I had it running once and now i cannot figure out how to get it back. thank you for your help
mattice Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 Not sure what you mean, but if you go to www.your domain.com/catalog/admin you are able to add / delete / update products, categories, the lot. "Politics is the art of preventing people from taking part in affairs which properly concern them"
emf_electronics Posted May 26, 2003 Author Posted May 26, 2003 I typed in mydomain/catalog/admin and it says page not found ?
mattice Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 Which version did you install? While installing you have selected (typed in) the path for the administration tool. The default is /catalog/admin/ so I assumed it was there. If not you should either search or remember ;) "Politics is the art of preventing people from taking part in affairs which properly concern them"
emf_electronics Posted May 27, 2003 Author Posted May 27, 2003 I found it but I have to type in catalog/admin/configuration.php
Chris Moore Posted May 27, 2003 Posted May 27, 2003 probably www.yourdomain.com/admin/index.php would be the go! Life is a highway!
emf_electronics Posted May 27, 2003 Author Posted May 27, 2003 That is what i was looking for. You guys are great.. Ok one more question and I will stop bothering everyone :) instructions during install : You need to add default.php to your directory index listing in the httpd.conf file for apache so you can access your store by www.yourserver.com/catalog/ instead of www.yourserver.com/catalog/default.php Where do i find httpd.conf I looked in all my directorys on the server and do not see it.
Chris Moore Posted May 27, 2003 Posted May 27, 2003 there isn't create a file in notepad and save it as .htaccess and add this script DirectoryIndex default.php Life is a highway!
