Find a shipping method that resembles what you want to do (flat rate, table based, etc.). Then go into your catalog/includes/modules/shipping folder and find the file for that shipping type and copy it with the name you wish to use. Open the new file and edit the old name for the new name. You will then need to make a copy of the corresponding file in catalog/includes/languages/[language]modules/shipping and make the necessary edits. That is all there is to it. You should have made a new topic for this issue instead of posting in a topic that has no relevance. Check out Wiki and that should get you started. Is this for all references within the file, including what looks like CAPITAL variables? What I was wanting to do was duplicate the flat.php shipping module and to specdel.php and recdel.php (Special delivery and recorded delivery). I changed all references to flat and FLAT within the new modules to specdel/SPECDEL and recdel/RECDEL. It seemed to work so far, but now, although it's installed, I don't have the remove button for flat rate. Is there a flag in one of the databases that I can change manually to let the system know that it's installed? I've had a look, but can't find it. Thanks. Al.
