helios Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 Hallo, the credit class + gv contribution (credit_class_GV_DC_v5.03) is running quite nicely here already. Since we wanted taxes to be calculated after subtracting the value of the coupon, I set "Recalculate Tax" to "Standard" so that the tax is calculated for the price the customer pays in the end. We want that the coupon value - when given in procect - is calculated without the shipping costs. We do not want to give a percentage on shipping costs. These are our priorities before we tried to achieve the second goal (in accordance to the installation manual): Sub-total 1 Shipping 2 Discount Coupons 3 Tax 6 Total 10 (Gift Voucher is currently disabled, would be at 4) When I now put a product of 50 EUR in the basket and the shipping costs are 6 EUR, will a coupon of 10% be calculated to a value of "5.60EUR". The tax will be calculated after the value of the coupon has been substracted from the total price. So it will be calculated for this price 50 + 6 - 5.60 = 50.40. When I exchange the priorities of Discount Coupons and shipping (shipping gets 3, Discount Coupons gets 2) a coupon value of 5,52 EUR will be calculated! But we expected a value of 10% from 50 EUR (the price without shipping costs). We thought that possibly the tax would not be recalculated correctly in our special case, but it is the value of the coupon thats not calculated correctly? Anyone ever had this case? For us it seems natural not to include the shipping costs in the coupon calculation. Thanks a lot for the great contribution!
