badjuju Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 Does anyone know if there's a menu contribution that will make the Product Menu look like the one on this site - http://store.dragracing.com/ I have installed about 3 and so far the closest one is Menubar DHTML. I would like something that collapses, not a popup. Thanks Quote
Ajeh Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 That menu is basically this menu with just an image look to it due to the stylesheet. http://www.8thoctave.com/osc_freecall Quote
badjuju Posted May 26, 2003 Author Posted May 26, 2003 Thanks Linda. I started working on that, but gave up on it. At least I know I'm working with the correct menu. Quote
Guest Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 It would be worth also having a look at http://www.dynamicdrive.com and http://www.dhtmlshock.com for more dynamic menus - of course, the downside to using a more dymanic menu could be that you would have to 'hard code' the menu - but once you've set up your categories, there shouldn't be much need to change them anyway. Guest Posted June 19, 2003 Posted June 19, 2003 I dunno if this will help, but we have a DHTML menu up on our site. If you have questions about it, please e-mail me at [email protected]. I used dhtml scripts from www.bratta.com which is an EXCELLENT site! Quote
Guest Posted June 19, 2003 Posted June 19, 2003 oops, just in case you need the URL =p Here it is: www.iloveasiandvds.com Quote
Guest Posted June 19, 2003 Posted June 19, 2003 rliao Thats a really cool menu, are they dynamically driven from the database? Cheers Lee Quote
Guest Posted June 19, 2003 Posted June 19, 2003 Maxidvd: Unfortunately, they are not. They are static for the most part, but once I find some time, I can hopefully make them into a db-driven contribution. Quote
Guest Posted June 19, 2003 Posted June 19, 2003 Sounds good, I'll be intersted in the contribution.. Cheers Quote
