detail guide on order placements?

Is there an oscommerce guide that explains what happen when a customer places an order from the viewpoint of the customer and from the viewpoint of the store owner ?????

 

I'm still having trouble figuring out the order status (pending, delieverd, default)....

 

And i've been searching the forums and i found this CRE Loaded V5.0 Patches 1-4.

Hi,

 

When a customer makes an order the customer and the owner get a copy of the order if you have setup an email address in the "send extra order emails to" section of the configuration, my store area.

 

The order status like pending, processing, etc. are for you when you get the order from the admin so you can send a comment to the customer or whatever you want.

 

You can add different statuses if you want.

To verify that i understand this correctly,

 

My Store:

E-Mail Address: [email protected]

will be used if the customers have problems or queries....

E-Mail From:

will be the address used to send the order info to the customer.

also this will be the address used to send newsletters ?

 

Send extra order emails to the following email:

if this is blank, then does this mean, that i the store owner will not receieve a copy of the order via email ?

But i can still check under Choose an action.. Orders right ?

 

one last thing, do you know where i can get CRE Loaded V5.0 Patches 1-4.
