pictures of attributes ?

If i have a product X

an product x comes in red orange and blue

and i make option called color.

then an option value of red

an option value of orange

an option value of blue

and then assign those attributes to product x.

 

Is there a way that when a user goes over these available options, he/she is shown an image for these attributes ?

any ideas.... i just want to add pictures for all the differet possible available optoions..... thanks...

I've done this before simply by uploading the extra images to the server manually, and then including them in the product description with <img src=" " > tags.

 

If you only have a few products with this, this would much easier to implement than a recoding of the attributes module.

Its a good trick. I actually thought of the same thing of manually entering the images in through the product descripttion.

 

But what i want to do is when a customer goes over (or under ) the pull down menu, each entry that is pulled down and when the mouse goes over one of these entries of the available options, an image appears to the right of the available options.....

 

I was really hoping that this can be done through some module...
