newbie Admin panel question :)

Hi,

This is my first time using Oscommerce :) (Just had to say it) anyhow, I was wondering, how do you log into the admin interface? I tried logging in, and none of the passwords, and usernames I try work. I tried the mysql user name the system username, etc. None work? So basically I guess Im trying to ask what is the default username:pass for the admin interface?

P.S.

I tried searching this in the docs, forums, wiki, and oscdoxs but couldnt find anything.

 

Also I was trying interchange and it seems to have better inventory features, but I gave up on it because it seems to be developing very slow, and does not have a nice active userbase like you guys :)

The reason that you have not found anything to answer your problem is because the Admin panel does not have a login feature.

 

That is only if you install one of the Admin Access contributions. In that case, the default username and password are contained in the readme.txt or the *.sql file that came with the contribution.

 

Check your server's control panel to see if the admin folder is not protected. That might be your problem.
